The innovative all in one snap-in unit with patented priming system allows the filter unit to be simply snapped out of its stainless steel mounting cradle when replacement is required without the need for tools.
The SNAPP filter is manufactured to SAE J1839, guaranteeing fuel water separation to +99% efficiency, providing outstanding engine protection for modern engines that demand excellent filtration to ensure sensitive injection systems are not damaged by water and solid contaminates. The composite chemically treated media attracts water droplets where they grow bigger with fuel flow over time, eventually making their way into the clear collection bowl. The massive pleated media area is also designed to trap any microscopic particles of rust and dirt, providing even further protection.
The SNAPP filter system features an extremely high entrapment capacity meaning filter changes are required less often, saving on down time. An added advantage of the high foreign matter holding capacity is that it helps to extend the life of the on-engine filter. The compact size of only 100 x 200mm suits most areas while the stainless steel mounting bracket and the units high impact nylon construction provide excellent protection against the harsh marine environment. Unit only replacement kits are available and include a new SNAPP filter and priming accessory.
