Christies Beach Marine – Refunds & Exchange Policy
At Christies Beach Marine, we aim to ensure you’re completely satisfied with your purchase. Our policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and outlines your rights regarding refunds, returns, and exchanges.
Change of Mind – Refunds (7 Days)
We offer refunds on in-store items for change of mind within 7 days of purchase, provided that:
- The item is unused, in original condition, and in resalable packaging
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is presented
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.
Exchanges (30 Days)
We accept items for exchange within 30 days of purchase if:
- The item is unused, in original condition, and in resalable packaging
- Proof of purchase is provided
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law if an item:
- Has a major fault
- Is damaged
- Is not as described or unfit for its intended purpose
For minor issues, we will offer a repair or replacement where appropriate.
Exclusions
- Items that are used, damaged due to misuse, or not returned in saleable condition
- Custom or special orders
- Consumables or perishable goods, unless faulty
- Spare tyres, wheels, hubs & bearings (exchange allowed)
- Engine electronic based spare parts
- Cut to length items such as rope, chain, carpet & others
